friday family

shooting a gorgeous family, on a fabulous fall evening was a perfect way to end the work week. these 4 were so much fun and definitely naturals in front of the camera. mom and dad totally know how to work it and the girls aren't far behind.

it's official- amy is a bombshell

amy is two weeks away from her wedding and planning a little wedding gift surprise for her lucky fiance! she said i could post a pic of her on my blog. thanks for being such a confident, gorgeous, and super fun chick amy. can't wait for your wedding!!

my first- jeff and ayslinn

wow, wow, wow!!! yesterday drew and i shot our first wedding as electric green photography! we had SO much fun.

jeff and ayslinn are SO in love and so photogenic. they were an absolute treat to spend a saturday with.

although school work and house work was beckoning me, as soon as i woke up i had to upload all their photos and blog a few of my faves. asides from the change to black and white for two of the images these are sooc. check back in a while for a slideshow of their day.

jeff and ayslinn- thank you for an amazing day yesterday. you two are total rockstars!!

my sunday chill session

on sunday, i was one of ten photographers who spent the day with rob and lauren (of rob & lauren photographers) at their cozy home for a chill session photography workshop. the workshop was all sorts of fabulousness. rob and lauren were so real and full of knowledge to share. i took lots of notes and learned some truly great stuff to bring to my photoshoots!! 

one of the best parts of the day was our live shoot with models. this super fantastic couple got married last last saturday and were more than willing to put back on their wedding gear for another shoot with rob and lauren (and their posse of photogs). aren't they fantastic?! here are some of the images i got. enjoy!

photos at the farm

on saturday drew and i drove up to my aunt and uncle's gorgeous farm to take some family photos. wow, family photos with a big group in the full sun is super interesting!! we ended up finding a great spot behind a perfect "shabby chic" barnish structure with terrific light where we got the majority of the pics. don't i have a terrific looking family? 

here is jack. the baby of the family. the other 3 grandchildren all have diaper pics at this age so i was instructed to get some of jack too. his sister and parents did a great job of getting him to smile by being crazy behind me! 

aren't his eyes the most amazing shade of blue. his sister olivia's are just like that too. 

oh, nothing like some pudge so put a smile on your face.

my aunt and uncle val and bob. aren't they adorable together? they have been together forever (seriously forever) and you can just feel how in love they still are.

summer holidays

so, i realize i have not been very good at updating my blog lately :-( for the handful of people who read my blog- i am sorry!!! it is my new years resolution (btw: teachers make new years resolutions at the beginning of the new school year. well i do at least!) to blog LOTS. like,  lots lots.
