seriously. i love love. that sounds silly, i know, but while finishing editing these photos and looking at ann-renee and joe and the obvious love they share i was sort of overcome with emotion! it is such a privilege to be able to spend time with couples in love. thank you ann-renee and joe. enjoy the slideshow HERE

headshots and some saturday lovin'

On Saturday, Mike came over to get a couple headshots done for his fabulous new job and his lovely girlfriend Jenn came over too. They were in between wedding events and looking hot so I had to get some couple shots too. They are a gorgeous couple!

On Sunday night I met up with our First Ever Wedding Clients for some tea and their engagement session! I adore Ann-Renee and Joe. I mean look at them!! They are so in love and so easy to be around. They made my job super easy and I hope they had fun. Ann Renee is not the biggest fan of getting her photo taken (I have no idea why- she looks gorgeous in pictures!) but she was such a trooper with different locations, outfit changes, and being hoisted up on a car lift. Can't wait for the wedding you two!

The picture below was all Joe's vision- I love how it turned out! 

Joe sold Ann Renee a car and the rest is history. I would like to think this is how the deal went down!

Joe took us to the coolest tree-lined gravel road just down from his dealership. It made for amazing pics!



I did a little cropping on a couple of these as well as bumped up some contrast. Tomorrow I will start playing in photoshop. Stay tuned for the slideshow in a week or so to see all the completed goods!!

peonies, where have you been all my life

seriously, how is it that at 27 years old i have finally taken notice of peonies? my grandma f. has the most beautiful peonies growing at her house, and has for years, and i notice them today!! they are most definitely my new favourite flower. look at these beauties! in the spring she is going to give me some to plant in our yard. thanks grandma!

grad party

Last Friday I was hired by our amazing neighbors to shoot their daughter's Gr. 6 Grad Party. It was FREEZING cold outside but the girls were total troopers and we got some awesome images! Aren't they absolutely adorable?! 

The area we shot in is a 30 second walk right across the street from our houses. It is a protected Wetland Ecosystem and a perfect photoshoot location!
