schools out for summer!!!!

wooohoooo!!! today was my official last day of school until i go back on Aug 22nd! happy summer vacation to all my beautiful teacher friends! i plan on spending lots of time with drew and my family and friends, sleeping in late, working out everyday, taking cami for lots of walks, and of course, taking pictures everyday and updating this blog lots. eeeeek! i am so pumped. and because i can't post on my photography blog without a pic here is a teaser from the Grade Six Grad Party I shot on Friday. I will have more up soon! 

Happy Father's Day

Today is the longest day of the year and Father's Day! Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there. Here is to mine and Drew's (who just so happen to be the best!).

weekend bombshell

My sister and sister-in-law posed for me for a bombshell shoot this weekend. We had SO much fun!! They are so beautiful! I can't wait to do more of these shoots.

my hot husband

the lighting was so yummy on our walk tonight so i made drew model for me. he pretends to hate it but i know he actually loves it. i will catch him staring at and critiquing these, just wait!

muggy love

Oh, I love these three. We spent (nearly) two very muggy and sweaty hours walking around the river valley near their place tonight. I had to get these on our computer fast to see more of this sweet boy (shuai- not dwayne!). He was so easy to take photos of. They all worked it for the camera. I upped the contrast on this one slightly- otherwise it is sooc. It is my favourite so far. michelle and dwayne were kissing and then shuai planted one on his dad too! awwwww. Thanks for a great evening guys. Wanted you to see this one before report cards take over!

sisters- kendal and cassidy

my girlfriend veronica and I have been trying to arrange this shoot of her two beauties for a while now. yesterday was the day! in the blazing hot sun we got some amazing shots of these two. we hung out in the alley behind their house and then went to a park a couple blocks away. these two ladies were awesome models and so much fun! thanks for a great day girls!! 

i can't believe how old they look. i met kendal when she was just a tiny peanut in kindergarten!!

jill and cody in black and white

My bestest Jer's ultra-fabulous sister Jill got married last Saturday!! I was so lucky to be a part of the days festivities. I did the ladies make-up and made it in time to the ceremony with Drew to capture some shots from the back row with my semi-zoom lens! The wedding was awesome and the newlyweds are enjoying two weeks in Jamaica- so jealous!

How gorgeous does Jill look?! I wonder who did her make-up? hehehehe!!

The ceremony was gorgeous. Outdoors and nice and short! I love this moment with Jill laughing!

Here is the money shot! I didn't get to see Jill start down the aisle cause I was waiting to capture Cody's face!! I love the lips pursed. Classic! He looks so dapper in his attire. 

The maid of honor- Jer-  at the ceremony. I loved the flowers. Once again, captured from the back row with my semi-zoom lens! I got acquainted very quickly with the girl next to me at the ceremony as I kept invading her personal space to try to get shots!
